Starter covers core ITAM and tickets like lightweight CMDB tools. Professional bundles discovery, NMS, SAM, and ITSM similar to ManageEngine AssetExplorer + ServiceDesk essentials. Enterprise adds SSO, NAC, change/problem, automation, and on-prem — closer to ServiceNow/Ivanti footprints without Flow Designer lock-in.

Can the agent run on major operating systems?

Yes. The QS Discovery Agent runs on Windows (Service), macOS (LaunchDaemon), and Linux (systemd). It starts on boot and reports inventory and telemetry in the background.

Does the platform work without installing agents?

Yes. Agentless discovery uses SNMP, SSH, WMI, and nmap to find and profile network devices without installing software on them.

How is data secured?

Agent traffic uses TLS. Tenants get RBAC, MFA/SSO, Postgres row-level isolation, CSRF protection, and audit trails. The security program aligns to SOC 2 and ISO 27001 control objectives (independent reports under NDA when issued) and DPDP Act 2023 practices including DSAR. Where agents are installed, the platform can surface USB insertions, open-port changes, file integrity changes, and unexpected software. Anomalies can raise alerts, feed NAC quarantine, and trigger automation rules.
